 Missouri First website unveiled!

Sept. 1, 2000
Cyberspace

Missouri First is happy to announce the formal launch of its website!  The site is not the work of a professional web development company, but rather the volunteer effort of the Missouri First board, so please forgive us if it doesn't have the polished look of some commercial websites you may have seen.  We hope that you'll spend a few minutes exploring our site and give us your feedback.  We want this site to be a valuable, easy to use source of information, so please let us know how we can improve.  Email your comments or suggestions to our webmaster.

We would also like to use this occasion to invite you to join Missouri First.  We realize that many important things compete for your time, but it is our hope that you will see the value in joining like-minded citizens to protect the values and institutions we hold dear.  You don't have to spend much time watching the evening news or reading the paper to realize that not everyone loves freedom and liberty as much as you.  In fact, there are many interests at work even now to limit your freedom and undermine the very foundation of our great nation.  The battle is great and the opposition is strong, but, to quote Patrick Henry, "We are not weak, if we make proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power... The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave."

Please help us in our efforts to preserve the character and value of the great sovereign State of Missouri.  The easiest and most valuable thing you can provide is your membership.  Just click here for instant membership.  Because we value your confidentiality, your name will never be given or sold to anyone without your permission.  After you have joined, we hope you'll be able to contribute your time and resources to some of our causes.  But no matter how much or how little you can do, by just taking the time to join, you will be making a difference.  As Edmund Burke stated, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

Best regards,

Nathan Hayden
President, Missouri First
